Key chords

The guest screen never shows a menu. Every admin surface is a chord.

Ctrl+Shift+AAdmin hub (also Ctrl+Shift+\ or F12)
Ctrl+Shift+CCameras
Ctrl+Shift+BBackgrounds
Ctrl+Shift+IInputs and button mapping
Ctrl+Shift+WBranding: logo, frame, watermark, text
Ctrl+Shift+OOutput: folder, quality, review time, printer
Ctrl+Shift+GGallery
Ctrl+Shift+DDiagnostics and update check
Ctrl+Shift+FWindowed mode on and off
Ctrl+Shift+/This list, on screen
Ctrl+Shift+QQuit (asks first). Alt+F4 and Escape do nothing in kiosk mode.

Binding a button

  1. Plug the device in. Open Inputs (Ctrl+Shift+I).
  2. Pick the kind: keyboard, gamepad, MIDI or serial. Most USB buttons are keyboards.
  3. Next to Trigger, press Bind next press, then press the button. A toast confirms.
  4. If the button types a letter that clashes with something, reprogram it to F13 to F24. Windows uses none of them.

Backgrounds

Open Backgrounds (Ctrl+Shift+B). Drop a JPG, PNG, MP4 or WebM onto the panel, use Add files, or paste a URL. Click a thumbnail to use it; the mode follows the file. Choose the mode by hand for live camera or a flat colour. Blur and dim soften a live feed into a backdrop. The stage swaps as soon as nobody is mid-snap.

The camera is drawn on top of the background, so with the subject box at its full size you will not see the background at all. Shrink the box in Branding (say 70 by 70) and the background shows around the guest. There is no green-screen cut-out in this version.

Branding

Open Branding (Ctrl+Shift+W). Everything here is off until you set it, and the saved photo uses the same numbers as the screen.

Where the photos are

Pictures\OhSnap\<event>\<date>\. Gallery (Ctrl+Shift+G) shows today's shots with Open folder and a delete that asks first. The photo takes the screen's shape by default (Output, Shape), so a portrait screen gives a portrait photo.
